  1. And also best not to have it rest in the hands of an entire population of uneducated idiots...democracy works so well, if opnly everybody was educated we would move so much faster then we do now. How about we make a special anti-ignorance test for citizens to vote...that should weed out the idiots.
  2. Thank you. I heard supermassive black holes most likely form from sgiant supernovae, but then I heard another saying that black holes actually feed on stars, meaning they grow in size as stars are sucked in. Untill I heard this I thought they only shrink in size over time..but oh well. Who cares So galaxies form from lots 'o' gas..yehe
  3. French just piss me off...no threat. Cuba still has it comin for back then with the missile chrisis..hopefully.
  4. We stated before the war that we would not exploit it's oil for whatever that's worth. Our interest is democrcy, and capitalism to be instated in Iraq, as we wanted tohave in Vietnam 30 years ago. Germany's interest: stronger yet alliance with France. French interest: oil....so they can drink finer whine and smoke more.
  5. Red pigment is an extremely hard color to produce for looks. It has no adaptational advantage for eye color. The brown to eventually blue is natures use it or lose it policy. Once an animal has no use for something, then over a period of time it loses it. People with lighter eye color are a proof of the lose it group, as are white people compared to black people.
  6. So pain is initially procssed in the spinal cord and dorsal horn initially process pain, but the limbic system "feels" pain, corrct? Also, I like to see things for myself rather then reading them in articles I don't know are reliable or not, since I have run into MUCH :bs: in the times I researched, but thanks for the information, it's very usefull. The method of self inflicting pain was with the help of different amounts of pressure on my arm...though I believe that healthy doses of electric shock (extremely low ampage, higher voltage each time) would be a less dangerous way of self-inflicting pain. But I am done with my pain inflicting days, in fact I have been for almost a year now...but at my highest degree, pain appeared to be like a little leashed puppy. Further more, I believe that pain impares the cognitive processing ability neerly the identical way as any other kind of physcical/mental stress does. Since I found that by being nervous, and feeling pain, i was impared in different abilities a neer identical amount in each. (Example: bad at math questions, slightly lower speed at arranging toothpicks in holes.)
  7. Ah, thanks..that's why I was confused...custom titles.
  8. Is there a one pill fits all disorders sleeping pill? Since it seems I have insomnia, sleep paralysis, AND a sleep walking disorder...well the sleep walking was vluntary...long story...see sleep paralysis. Also what is the best medication for depression/masekism lets say for a 15 year old from michigan that is constantly betrayed by love?
  9. Didn't we all start off with brown/black eyes? Brown---->green------->blue How could someone get red eyes? I have a friend with that.
  10. I just posted on 2000th...it's the twilight zone I tell you yes it is. (What's the number up to now?)
  11. I liked the one where you said YOU ARE...very usefull information:D Hehe just playiung man...by the way, what are all the rankings one can recieve since there seem to be A LOT
  12. Yes...it is. In around 1 billion years and counting. (Bill, back me up on this one..I saw it on discovery and discovery science hehe)
  13. The UN always has been and always will be a joke. With every decision it has made concerning war, it never chose to back it up. France and Germany have interests in Iraq...they don't give a flying F about anything else then that..they too threatened to oppose the U.S. and haven't. Ever since WWII the U.S. has been the international police force, since we imposed justice and democracy (or tried to) since then. Who cares about the UN. Even back in 1947 when a ewish state was voted for and Israels war of independance occured the UN stepped back and you guessed it...did nothing. That is all I have to say until I get my information orginised and have a little more examples (aiming for around 30).
  14. The settlements were started around the 60's as a plan to prevent the possibility of a palestinian state. They increased in size and numbers up to around '95 (i think). Now lately when we recognise the palestinians as an identity, and ever since the PLO got international attention, the settlements stopped groing, and now we [pay the [rice by spending billions on protecting them. A little over half a year ago Sharon (or Barack..i forgot) extracted 26 illegal settlements as a short-term peace sollution...hope that helps.
  15. It's not a remote controlled rat, but a fully automated device programmed to find the center of a maze, correct? I saw one of those on discover channel...it reached the target faster then the rat,,,I guess this is because the rat tried to find the cheese, not simply solve the maze.
  16. I won't get into the workings of the brain itself since I am no neurologist, and know little of its workings. Embarking on a new experiment I tested my motor/mental skills while exposed to different amounts of pain. (puzzles, math problems, walking, running, patting my head and rubbing my stomach at once, etc.) and I found that there is no activity that I can perform at the same speed, or efficiency as I did when I was not exposed to pain. This was true in all cases even though I managed to reach the degree of not even knowing I was in pain once I attempted the motor skill. How could this be possible? Is it simply a product of extreme concentration? And is there any part of the brain that pain does not effect involving motor/mental skills? On a different note, you say that since pain is a subjective thing, then we may not feel pain AT ALL if we want to? And what paert of the brain initially analyzes pain (is it the limbic system)?
  17. A pain pill is basically a perscribed medication given to handle pain in the form ofeither a pill or an injection. Ex. Morpheine. I am no genius to the workings of the brain, but this is the information I have found, and I apologise if it is wrong, or slightly innacturate. By redducing the amount of pain I meant to have lower amounts of pain nerves fire off when one is hurt...it's ok, I'm a messy thinker. If you suggest that the thai boy felt no pain at all, I would have to disagree. I might agree that he willingly shut down a part of his conscious brain, the part that makes us react to pain. I haven't mastered pain to a large enough extent to see whether this is true or not but hopefully I may get back to you on that.
  18. Oddly, I was in a neerly fully conscious state when I was sleep walking, and could control my actions. but didn't want to return to my body. I had none of my senses, besides the sight of my body...which was most likely a holographic response. I still wonder though how I can make the conscious decision to become conscious when I am unconscious...confusing.
  19. Dear glider; I found out about the PNS through research of psychokinesis and it's supposed catagories. This was one of them and I do agree it is a "biofeedback" as well...if i do know what it means. If I find the video of the thai boy I'll send it to you, but in the video he meditated 30 minutes, was then placed on a seat of thorns, got a large piercing through his cheek, then had a handlebar shoved through. He was alive since after he was 'sown up' he got out of the trance and looked like he had a hangover. I know the PNS and SNS control our unconscious bodily functions. One of which is pain. By reducing the amount of pain and reacting to it differently as well, one feels less pain. Some kids in our school on the football and wrestling teams take pain pills, and thats where I got the name, because I reacted the same way those who take pain pills do. And Finally, by feeling more pain, you can train it more, and eventually reach my degree, or maybe even that of the thai boy.
  20. If out of body experiences were real that would explain what happened 2 nights ago, though I presume it was a holographic experience along with a case of consious sleepwalking. Just incase I asked my dad to place a note with 8 digits above the fan in my room, without me knowing them..then when i have an "out of body experience" i should be able to remember the digits, or at least most. I will not look at the numbers before or after sleep, only when he takes them down and quizes me...hope it helps me figure the truth to the myth.
  21. Did you like my artificial evidence to support the flat earth theory? Here's some more: The reason our earth seems curved is because our logic is crooked. If we just streighten that out and pray to chikoomabu then we would stop seeing the curviture of earth and start seeing the truth. If the earth is curved then why is toast flat? Since when you think about it the earth is a giant piece of toast, tioasted by the sun, and has a crispy surface. And why are we so obsessed with flat screens. Since if our earth were curved, would we want circular screens? This obsession with flat screens is a sign for us to pray to chikoomabu and find the truth of a flat earth. This is so. Dr. Oncrackpot
  22. I never said it was. Just tried to make a thread on an abandoned topic if you don't mind . Now leave me to my thoughts until I figure another thread for a poor, abandoned topic. PEACE!
  23. Was she transexual. Meaning; did she believe she was a man trapped in a women's body?
  24. Testasterone does that. On a safe scale also known as steroids it could increase size without damaging the brain enough to notice. Testasterone masculinizes, estragen feminizes...basic..easy.
  25. I have had 24 experiences with sleep paralysis, and my last one was last night. The first few times it was frightening, then I slightly controled it and manged to go in and out of dreams by my own will, then I had out of body experiences or so I believed, then I learned how to become conscious if I wanted to while dreaming which completely amazed me, and now, last night I truly believe I reached the final point of control. While having sleep paralysis I gained consciousness and had an out of body experience, I made the attempt of moving without "returning to my body" and I saw my hand twitch, then with much effort I got up, took white out and placed it in the kitchen while still supposedly outside my body. This morning I went to the kitchen and amazingly the white-out was there. I do not believe that out of body experiences are real or that I have been in a different location other then my body but I do believe that I truly believed I was. I was not conscious while I put the white out in the kitchen or day dreaming, but I believe that through this sleeping disorder I have controlled my sleep paterns to the greatest extent imaginable. Oddly...I still am slightly insomniac. By the way, no I will not take pills to treat this...it's just way too fun
