  1. Teflon(polytetrafluoroethene) is an organic material for non-sticky pan coating. As we know, Teflon is a material with very low coefficient of friction. So during the production, how do producers coat such a low-friction material on metal? Why does Teflon have so low coefficient of friction in terms of its structure? Please help! Thank you so much!
  2. Sulphuric acid (H2SO4) has a dehydrating property, but what is the cause of this property? Can anyone explain? Is it about its structure? Thank you!
  3. Is it possible to produce a lot of oxygen gas by using approachable chemicals at home? Please help! Also, I'm working on to make iron nail rust as fast as possible(for interest), besides putting into salt water and acid, is there any method possible using dry cells? Is it good to use steam(high temperature, presence of oxygen and water)? Thank you!
  4. Hi everyone, I am studying about the coriolis effect which affects the hurricane's spinning direction on the earth. I got lots of confusion on it but I wish to figure it out. Here are my two questions which I really hope you can explain in details. 1. In terms of conservation of angular momentum, how does the earth's rotation affect the direction in large-scale wind? (why is the path curved?) 2. Somebody told me that the different toilet flush rotation direction between north and south hemisphere is due to the Coriolis effect, is it true taht the Coriolis effect can really cause effects in small scale? Thanks in advance! Really really thank you! Posting useful pictures for description would be fine.

    Molar mass

Why does the molar mass equals to the relative atomic mass of the element? I found that amazing when it's possible to know how many atoms are there in a certain amount of element. Can anyone explain in details? Thanks in advance.
  6. Wiki tells me that the surface of the sun is 5800K in temperature and the core is far more higher than that. Why isn't the heat in the core conducted to the surface ? What is the true reason for such a big difference in temperature? Thanks in advance. I hope you guys can explain.
  7. Hey guys, I'm confused with some questions and hope you guys can help me 1. The plasma is where electrons and nuclei of atoms are separated. If the electrons are separated from the atoms, how can the electrons of atoms be excited to get to higher orbital and then get back to the ground state and emit EM waves? 2. At a high enough temperature, will the elements(lets say hydrogen) emit a broad range of wavelength of EM waves like a black body? Or will it only emit certain wavelengths according to the atomic emission spectrum? why and why not?
