  1. Euthanasia is really for people that cannot commit suicide in the traditional ways, such as the disabled or hospitalized. Also average people considering suicide are generally not concerned with laws or convenience. The problem many have with euthanasia is the appearance of acceptance of suicide as a good solution to a problem. Honestly it is rarely discussed but euthanasia is legally, socially accepted and performed in the united states. In many "terminal" illness' that involve pain, morphine is used and slowly increased to deadly levels which kills many patients, the legal cause of death will be the root illness. I would like to see good legislation for euthanasia but more than that I would like to help people improve life in general to where suicide is considered less often.
  2. generally Americans believe and generally love competition and a free market. Communism does not promote/stimulate creativity the way a free market does. Most Americans love the way our society operates currently and are threatened by any idea that may change a good thing.
  3. What are some idea's to help prevent the use of excessive force by police, from minor police brutality to fatal shootings. Thank You
  4. Another contributing factor to expensive health insurance I do not hear discussed often is the excessively popular practice of lifelong treatment of symptoms rather than treatment for the root problems. Which in my opinion is greatly pushed by pharmaceutical company's. This is one area I believe is under regulated/managed.
  5. Thank you for your post, I agree creating jobs is not a perfect cure for poverty. I do believe someone creating good jobs is an effort in the right direction. Thanks.
  6. Thank you for your post, even considering the current U.S. welfare system you believe currency must be removed from food to cure poverty? I know the welfare system will not cure poverty but it does provide basic necessities to the poor in the U.S. almost essentially eliminating the currency value of food for a large percent of the poor. I'm not saying there is anything on a global scale comparable to this nor would I believe it to be a good solution . Thanks.
  7. I believe something one individual can do to make a difference is to have an ethical business and create good jobs. Anyone have any silver bullets or even a good lead one. Thanks
