THAT IS M THEORY! Perhaps I'm taking common sense for granted here? How hard is that?! So I was right, but again just the words '5 string shapes' is not standard. What you have said above is much clearer. My general advice is to use standard terminology as possible and if people ask for a bit more clarity just accommodate them.
