Enthalpy Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 Welcome here! Mass spectroscopy counts individual atoms, so the amount wouldn't be a limit. I just wonder how to evaporate only the area that interests you; answers exist probably. Just ask such people. Possibly a jet of etchant ions could be directed only at the area of interest and evaporate the unknown nuclides only there. It would take some pure ion source which is not hydrogen nor oxygen.
