Radical Edward Posted June 12, 2003 Share Posted June 12, 2003 I strongly suggest you do it by row reduction; follow all the usual rules until one row or (column) has all but one zeros. then you have a number to multiply the rest of the matrix by. if the reduced matrix is still larger than 3x3 then carry on doing that with successively smaller matrices.
