I'm a graduate student in a soil science class. We've all had that one professor that refuses to help, right? I'm struggling to understand what might be simple concepts because I just can't establish a base knowledge for his course. The problem at hand is in the photo.

What's the difference between cmolc and cmol? Is it just a matter of equivalent weight? Does anybody have an example or might be willing to point me in the right direction?
