Why verapamil blocks SP cells (side population cells)?

Featured Replies

Hello

As you know SP cells possess CSC-like phenotypes, just wonder why verapamil (which known a drug-resistance cancer) can blocks SP cells?

Whats the reason that this drug can diagnosis SP cells from MP cells(main population)?
