Hi guys, i was wondering if you could give some help here is the question:

3.bring the charged rod near the scope then touch the ball with your finger, withdraw the rod and your finger.

a) what happend ? Explain

 

i said this:

 

the 2 foils repelled because the rod is negative and your ginfer gets extra negative electrons and 2 negative charges repel. (teacher wrote: partly correct)
