Probability Distribution of Collected Samples in WSN

Hey All,

 

I have a camera sensor node that is periodically sampling the camera to detect activity. Then theses samples are first stored in the memory and then processed. My question is: do these sampled follow a certain probability distribution (Poisson, exponential, etc..) and what kind?

 

Any help is appreciated.
