Hi

 

So I have a question regarding Ag/AgCl as a reference electrode. Why do we use KCl solution in this type of electrode? Because I have read that for reactions that do NOT involve Ag+ or other species that react with Cl-, the salt bridge usually contains KCl electrolyte.
