H2O2 in acid and basic solutions (Le Chatelier's principle)

Featured Replies

How could one explain the difference in H2O2 stability in acid and basic solutions using Le Chatelier's principle?

H2O2 + 2H3O+ --> 4H2O

H2O2 + 2HO- --> 2H2O + O2

I know what you're asking, but not sure if my explanation will make sense. I've discovered a website that offers real life examples using Le Chatelier's Principle. Would you like for me to post it here for you?
