Nernst Equation

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a question about the meaning of the nernst potential.

say for a reaction A + B = C + D with a caculated nernst potential of -0.5

Does it mean that if I apply a potential of -0.4, the reaction will move forward, i.e. produce C and D?
