X linked inheritance Pedigree

First thought is no because both males and females are shown to have the trait.

How do you conclude that since both have X chromosome.

And there are females who have the trait and there are who haven't. How do you suggest this.

X Linked recessive manner of inheritance usually exhibits itself as a diognal line of trait in the pedigree .

The affected females with this mode of transmission occurs when the female lack one X chromosome like in Turner , Lyionisation phenomenon or both parents are carriers
