Compiling a Code/Source?

Featured Replies

Can somene tell me how I'd compile this? Or guide me? https://github.com/Nebuleon/TempGBA

Thanks a lot, in advance! smile.png

If you mean how do you compile the software on the above Github site, if you scroll down the above page there is a 'read me' that includes details of what software you need to compile it and how to do it.
If you mean, how do you use GIT itself to actually download the software, there is a free downloadable GIT book available from http://git-scm.com/book

Yes, I don't like any other OS.. I use Linux Mint 14.1

So, I don't use CodeBlocks? What exactly can I use, and how difficult would it be?

It said "Place tempgba.plg, tempgba.bmp, and tempgba.ini in the _dstwoplug
folder of your DSTWO. Place the TEMPGBA folder in your dstwo's root
folder (the one that contains _dstwo, _dstwoplug, etc)."

Does that mean I need a DSi? (Like the game device)? I don't have one, I'm doing this for a friend. What does this mean?

It seems you don't understand what it is you are compiling. It is a GBA emulator for Nintendo DS/DSi/3DS

The program requires any of the above devices, a micro SD and a "supercard DSTWO", which is some sort of an add-on or mod you can add to DS. The compiling procedure is given at the bottom of the github page, although I think precompiled binaries are available.

To compile you will need the SDK from http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/ds2sdk.htm

After obtaining the binaries or compiling the source, you need to go to supercard.sc and download supercard's OS and copy the os (the _dstwo folder) into a microSD. Then, copy the binaries of tempGBA into the _dstwo folder, insert the micro SD into the dstwo, and plug the dstwo into a DS/DSi/3DS to run GBA games on it. At least that's what I understand from 15 minutes of googling. Most of this info can be read on and deduced from the web.
