GEOMETRY WITHOUT A SECRET

Read and see for yourself: squaring the circle is resolved!

 

 

If it claims to square the circle it is not true. mathematics can show that things cannot be done - squaring the circle is one such idea. pi is a transcendental number (this has been proved) - but would need to be the other sort of irrational number that could be constructed algebraically in order to square the circle.

 

You can get arbitrarily close to squaring the circle - but you cannot get there!
