Higgs Boson and uncertainty principle

Featured Replies

I have been watching and reading up on the Higgs Boson, and I was wondering; if the Higgs Boson were to be discovered(it was supposedly found, but not confirmed yet), would it explain why on the quantum level electrons appear to be in two places at once while in the general physical world everything seems to have a specific location that it is located at? (I hope I posted this in the right section).

No, Higg's Bosons are suppose to explain why mass exists, or at least how gravity interacts with particles. The uncertainty and superposition of particles was already thought of like over half a century ago and it describes particles as having similar properties to waves.

No, it wouldn't. EDIT: And in addition, Higgs Boson also don't explain anything about gravity.

Well, they explain about mass, which would be used to create a unifying theory of quantum gravity that would help solve problems with relativistic mass gain and loss as well as black holes.
