Hi all,

I've recently bought an electrode for pH measurements and want to use it as a reference electrode.

So I checked the internal reference system of the electrode and found that it is Argenthal reference system with Silver traps!! (the filling solution is KCl)

Does this mean that the reference reaction is AgCl (s) +e- <--> Ag(s) +Cl- ?

Please help
