Extraction

good day

How to extract the nicotine from the propylene glycol or glycerol ?

sodium thiosulfate can be useful?

Why in the universe's name is nicotine in glycerol?????? ok this is how I would "extract it". I would add hexane, pentane, toluene, or some other organic non - polar solvent to the extract that you have. probably a 10 to 1 ratio. I.e. 10 parts non-polar solvent to 1 part your glycerol sludge. Then "dehydrate" the solution with CaCl2 (calcium chloride). After this you will need to find yourself a source of anhydrous HCL (hydrochloric Acid GASEOUS!!!!! not the crap in the hardware store). Once you bubble HCL through the soolution Nicotine HCL will snow out.

I have two mixes of nicotine with glycerin and nicotine with propilenglikoly, and both of them are spoiled - thus, I should separate one substance from another.

Could you give more exact instructions and proportions?
