My PA program starts in May but I am waiting for fall starting schools to get back to me? HELP what do I do?

Featured Replies

I was accepted into a PA program that starts on May 21st. But my first choice school starts in September and they wait-listed me (ahh!) and my second choice school starts in August and has rolling admissions but still hasn't contacted me (it's been about a month though, that's pretty normal, it should be soon that they contact me).

I'm on a super time crunch and don't want to wait until May to call these programs and tell them to hurry up because I don't want to disrespect the program which accepted me. Would you call them? Ask them for the status of my application? I've already emailed the school I'm wait-listed at saying that they're my first choice and basically I would choose them over the other. I'm getting really nervous because I'm worried that they won't contact me in time! What would you do?

What's a "PA program"?

I'm fairly certain she's speaking of a "Physician's Assistant" program. Kind of medical doctors but not really.
