You're 5 feet away from your bathroom mirror. You stare in the mirror at an object 2 feet behind you. Are your eyes contracting as if you're looking at an object 12 feet away?

i would assume it would. as you are seeing a virtual image behind a mirror (the virtual light rays follow the same path as the real light rays if he object was 12 feet away)
