I'm not sure about that exact measurement but the pancreas secretes Insulin after the blood-glucose level is below a certain point. The Insulin synthesizes Glycogen by combining molecules of glucose; now the sugars are too large to diffuse into the cells. When the blood-glucose level surpasses a certain point the pancreas secretes Glucagon to break down the Glycogen into Glucose; now the Glucose can diffuse into your cells.
