EMP and EMF Properties

Featured Replies

Ok so here is my understanding of an EMP:

A surge of electrons (I know it's much more complicated, but this is the part I want to focus on) in an electromagnetic field. So, I have a few questions. First off, am I right about the EMP being (at the most basic level) a huge surge of electrons through the air? Also, if this is true, could this electron surge be used to power a dievice wirelessly? Also, how can I calculate the power of an electromagnetic surge(EMS) in Amps/Volts/anything than can be converted into amps/volts?

One last question (slightly less relevant):

How can I use a magnet to increase the power of my EMF/EMP/EMS?
