I was planning on researching plant DNA and Biology, and i have found some interesting informational websites. I have narrowed down my interests to the study of plants, their composition and DNA and it would be great if you, the science community could share some possible experiment ideas for this topic. Any ideas will be appreciated.

you could do a genetic recombination experiment that shows how certain genes are critical to plant development. As for exactly how, I have no idea when it comes to plants because they dont have plasmids. ( i think)
