Solute Carrier Family

Featured Replies

I'm curious, and if I word this wrong, please forgive my misunderstanding!

If someone has a problem with one part of the SLC family, does that predispose them to a higher likelihood of having a problem with other parts of the SLC family?

Say, if you are found to have an issue with SLC6A2, is it likely that you might have an issue with SLC26A2, or even a couple others? I've been reading and rereading on all this, and I couldn't find anything that explains if it is likely or not.
