adjoint versus classical adjoint

Recommended Posts

Is there a relation between the adjoint (conjugate transpose) and the classical adjoint (it is called other things) which is the matrix obtained by replacing each entry of a matrix by its cofactor and then one takes the transpose)

Thank you

The only relationship is unfortunate terminology.
