sparklystars
Hi, I've got a question. Is there a difference in the concentration of carbohydrates or proteins in fruits as a whole compared to the extracted juice from the same fruit? If so, is there a way I can test for this? Are there any other things that i can test for in an experiment such as this one? Thanky you.
badchad
Squeeze an orange or a lemon. My guess is that whats left over (the rine, seeds, skin, etc) has a higher protein content, I could be wrong though.
budullewraagh
the structural material of most plants is cellulose, a polymer of glucose, bonded with alpha-beta 1,4 glycosidic linkages (it's a carbohydrate as well).
