Hi. I'm new to the forums. Anyways, how are silicon wafers made? I searched the internet and can't find much information. Some are confusing me.

 

I need to make a paragraph or two on the creation of how silicon wafers are made. So far, I have 2 paragraphs and in it I talked about distilling and purificating silicon dioxide. I don't know If that's enough. Each thing leads to something else from the websites I've read and I only need to to explain how silicon wafer are made. Some come from what I wrote so far which is the distilling and purificating silicon dioxide then all of a sudden x-ray visions come up. Any help please?
