Hi All,

 

Does anyone have any references on uncatalytic oxidation of glycerol? Im looking for that process, in particular with hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant.

I have difficulty in finding one.

How do you know the reaction's possible? Everyone knows about the reaction between glycerol and potassium permanganate (sets alight).
