bobschmidtpants
Hi my name is Robert Schmidt, I have created a valular conduit that allows the use of the tesla turbine and any compressed gas. Hopefully hydrogen! I have used propane and oxygen and compressed air.
insane_alien
not entirely sure what a valvular conduit is even after googling. but still, one isn't required to operate a tesla turbine on any compressed gas. more still why its worthy of mention. EDIT: ah right got it, after reading the patent on it it sounds just like a crap one way valve without moving parts. but seriously, why wouldn't you just use a 1 way valve like a check valve? Xittenn
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/tesla-turbine.htm That is awesome I take it that it's just a home-brew though? The above article finishes with the part that I was anticipating the incorporation of Carbon Fiber, Kevlar and other high strength materials. It also mentions that there are still a few current attempts at modern designs using the turbine to make more fuel efficient vehicles; somewhat more successful attempts in the last decade!
