hi guys. ive done some research about electric guitars and wrote up how they work and stuff. but im not sure whether im 100% correct on some of this. could you guys maybe give me some pointers on what to add or whats wrong?

I think your explanation about frequency response and pickup position is a bit

"iffy". The tension in the string is pretty much the same over its length.

However for a pickup near the bridge, the string excursions are much less and even more so for the bass strings. so this pickup produces much less signal in the bass register.
