Any one with experience separating ethanol from beer using vegetable oil to discard water followed by distillation of oil-ethanol solution?

if you put it in the freezer the water will freeze leaving the ethanol at the top

If you're going to distill the oil-ethanol solution, why not just distill the beer straight away?

Yea, I meant to say a distillation of the water-ethanol mixture is the conventional method which works fine, both on small and large scale, and both for drinks and fuels.
