Dark matter and anti matter.

Recommended Posts

Dark matter and antimatter are to completely different things.

Dark matter is simply the name of matter that is perceived to exist due to the gravitational forces it exerts on visible matter, however it cannot be observed by light it emits.

Antimatter is the same of regular matter except it is comprised of antiparticles. For example regular oxygen has 8 protons, 8 neutrons, and 8 electrons. Anti-oxygen would have 8 antiprotons, 8 antineutrons, and 8 positrons, positrons are antielectrons. Antiparticles are virtually identical to their everyday counterparts, however, they have an opposite electric charge. Antipatricles were first predicted by Paul Dirac, and then observed by Carl Anderson.
