Hi all,

 

I'm currently doing an essay on the theories of colour vision (using the trichromatic and opponent theory). However, I'm having so much trouble understanding the opponent theory and how it actually functions.

 

I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light on this? How can the opposing theory be explained and how could I propose a conclusion and evaluation of both theories? It's driving me crazy trying to get my head around it. Some ideas would be much appreciated.
