Phase of NaCl in Acid/Base Reaction

Featured Replies

In the reaction HCl (aq) + NaOH (aq) --> NaCl (?) + H2O (l), is the phase of NaCl going to be solid or aqueous?

you have Na+ and Cl- ions surrounded by a lot of water. which phase is it most likely to be in?

aqueous, I'm pretty, sure.....but I'm still a novice at this stuff, so I'm often second-guessing even my own common-sense based hypotheses
