Solids with high specific heat capacity needed, please help.

So we're doing an experiment at SSU in the physics lab. And we're trying to find the specific heat capacity of ferrofluid under a magnetic field. Only problem is the ferrofluid rips through it's container when we turn the magnet on. Anyone have suggestions as to a material for the container?

What is your current container made of? What do you need from your container? Are you going to heat it up? Is the container allowed to influence the magnetic field in any way?

 

Without any answer to those questions, it's hard to help you.

 

I'd go for ceramics.
