In question #1, if blood cell production was greater than blood cell destruction, you would have an ever-increasing number of blood cells. Eventually, your blood vessels would be packed solid -- not good. Conversely, if production was less than destruction, you would have an ever-decreasing number -- anemia. Also not good. I think a) through d) are correct: unfortunately, you can't say that e) is not true...
