Hello. I am doing a mock research proposal to study the advance and retreat of ice on Greenland and Antarctica. For this proposal, I have to create a budget. Hypothetically, I would need to purchase some ice-penetrating radar equipment. Does anyone have ANY idea how much these things cost? Thanks a lot.

We worked with Icefield's radar transmitter and we have developed an operational radar system to measure glacier thickness. If you are still looking for info, please post. In the meantime you can check this link.
