Jee, I haven't been on this in a long time.

Succulents are indeed plants, and they're so..succulent to let them thrive in arid conditions. They retain water so they can survive long dry periods, as well as survive areas with high levels of dissolved minerals.

They're found in dry areas of the tropics and subtropics, as well as on sea coasts and around salt pans.

Just Google succulent plant, you'll find a ton of things on them. They have numerous other adaptions to their habitat that you could include in your Biology assignment.
