Where I can get “carboxyl functionalized glass spheres” with 300nm diameter

Featured Replies

Dear gentleman/lady:

I’m a student in University of Akron. I want to buy some “carboxyl functionalized glass spheres” with 300nm diameter.:eyebrow:

I checked the some website, such as Duke and Bangs. It is pity that only the glass spheres above 3 microns (µm) are available. Can anyone give me some advice about “carboxyl functionalized glass spheres” with 300nm diameter?:-(

Thanks and best wishes to you!

Best Regards

What exactly do you mean by “carboxyl functionalized glass spheres” and what are you trying to do with them?

I think that information may help the people here help you.

Best of luck, and welcome to SFN!

I look forwards to seeing an answer to this also, particles of 3 microns (far Infrared) to 300nm (UV) would make for some interesting optical filters and effects ;)

“Carboxyl functionalized glass spheres” means the glass beads with COOH groups. These glass will have some special optical effects if they mix with some polymers.

If there are no glass beads with COOH groups, glass beads without COOH groups are also Ok for me.
