that`s impossible to answer without some specifics.

I'm using aluminium postassium sulphate/sulfate and copper(II) sulphate/sulfate

well the Cooper (II) sulphate is pretty easy, that will crystalise even in sulphuric acid if the soln is saturated enough, not a problem :)

 

as for the bitter alum, that`s a dative complex, so I`m not quite sure What effects that might have, sorry.
