issues with computer

Featured Replies

hey,

Im having issues with my computer on the network im on. for some reason the administrator believes my computer is trying to shutdown the network im on. They said to do a virus scan, which I did. I found nothing.

I also have a firewall active.

I often share my hard drives over the network, which people often use (could the large amount of people on my computer give the impression of supposedly attacking the network?)

and another thing is I also remote desktop connection my computer from the labs to the college alot. Whether this might do it....

So I really have no idea whats going on?

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

Isn't the only way a client machine can shut down the network by sending out a NETSTOP command via DOS terminal?
