Bunny Posted April 21, 2007 Share Posted April 21, 2007 I am a neuroscience student. After blocking NMDAR, why EPSCs can still be observed at the synapses? Is the EPSC due to the activation of AMPARs, as most of the synapses in brain are calcium impermeable AMPARs, so the EPSCs is due to the influx of Na+ ion?
