It isn't a hard qeustion, but when I was thinking of it, I can't define what foam is.

 

I'm asking now: what is the defination of foam?

Foam I believe is by definition simply a solid or a liquid that has a lot of gas pockets in it

 

I believe that pretty much covers it...

Oh yes aerogells... sorry... got confused because the stuff they use to fill walls is called foam but that means technically its not then? I should have thought aerogel not packing foam
