A question on light

Featured Replies

I looked at all the different forums and found this one to be the best. I have 1 question on light

When light enters through a prism and bends, it is actually slowing down, now where on Earth does it get the energy to speed up again after it exits the prism

No, the change in orientation of the probability amplitudes from each possible way the light could propigate through the medium (because of the photon's interactions with the atoms in the medium) just gives the effect of slowing down.

see...Quantum Electrodynamics

Seeing Special Relativity would be better, as this was one of the first proofs of the theory.

of course, since SR deals with actions on the atomic scale right?

SR deals with everything.
