The solution is another extension called MenuEditor, it can be found here: http://menueditor.mozdev.org/

 

Thats the problem with having so many useful extensions, they can clog up the menus but that extension allows to to manage them :)

their explanation is that it removes 'bloat'; ie, you can chose what you want installed, and not have anything unnessesary.

 

The functionality of a few of the most common extentions are included in FF 1.5 (mainly to do with the tabbed browsing)
