Resistor Cube

Recommended Posts

here is a question that we were asked in electronics class a few years ago, we`de just learned Ohms law. Non of us ever managed to work it out :( here goes.....

Imagine a cube made of (100 Ohm) resistors. so that would be a total of 12 identical resistors.

work out using ohms law, the resistance between the front left bottom corner, and the top right back corner.

A diagonal thing.

each edge is a 100 Ohm resistor.

I don`t think it`s possible myself using just ohms law, but would love to be shown either way, and certainly the answer! :)

Kedas, yer a diamond mate!!!

thnx a bunch for the data, I`ve added that url to my favorites too.

it`s no wonder we could never work it just being taught Ohms law :)

btw, I like the chaos circuit, we used to use something similar for white noise generators (for synths) using Zener Diode breakdown noise through an OP Amp :)

There`s a neat way using TTL shift registers too, I`ve lost the diag though.

cheers for the site again :)
