I think this is a "lateral thinking problem" and not a logic problem, because there are no deductions.

 

Um, 1 dollar bill, 20 dimes, and 300 pennies?

I don't think one generally buys money in stores. I'm pretty sure the "300" and such are not actually 300 of something. More like 3 of something. Like 3 digits. Like for house numbers. Like I said...

Lol this must be the correct answer, the exact same riddle (I refuse to call this a problem) was posed by our calculus teacher last week, and house numbers was the correct answer.
