Question for a project. Find genes to replace essential gene.

So i´m supposed to find some genes that are able to replace an essential gene once they are overexpressed. Any ideas for that? Perhabs there is a method which i havent heard about yet?

Would be very happy if anyone gave me some quality advice.😁
