Determine paternal and maternal DNA matches without availability of Maternal sample

Featured Replies

Hi,

My question is a simple one with a possibly very complex answer.

I have three DNA samples (A,B and C)

Sample A(female) and B(male) has the same father, but not mother.

Sample B(male) and C(male) has the same mother, but not father.

The Sample for the father of A and B is available, but not the sample of the mother of B and C.

My questions are;

1. Can the paternal lineage between A and B be proven.

2. Can the maternal lineage between B and C be proven.

Thanks in advance,
